Auricoste brand chronometer of the French Navy

Chronometer for the navy manufactured by Auricoste, watchmakers of the state navy. Large stopwatch 80 mm / 60 mm with retracting needle in working condition.

NB: After thorough research on this chronometer, having belonged to the commander of the submarine Seal (1927, 1943, this submarine was seized by the Germans in December 1942 in Bizerte and ceded to the Italians under the designation FR 111. It was sunk on 28 February 1943). A study by an expert from CNES, the National Chamber of Experts Specialized in art and collection objects, confirms the time of use.
