General conditions of sale
1. SCOPE
These general conditions of sale are applicable to all orders placed on http://www.histoiredantan.com/. The applicable GTC are those pertinent at the date of confirmation of the order.
2. AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCT
Our goods and prices are valid until they do appear on our website.
3. TERMS OF PAYMENT
• by credit card • by check (European area only) Your order is then held in reserve for 7 days. Past this period, without any receipt of your check, your order will automatically be canceled. The order will be processed after receipt of your check, and its encashment.
4. NON- PAYMENT
The company “Histoire d’Antan” may refuse any order or delivery from a costumer who has not fully or partly paid a previous order or with who a non-payment is running.
Terms of Delivery
PREAMBLE
These delivery terms are extracted from the conditions of sale and delivery registered under the French law. The distance selling conditions are brought to the attention of the customer and approved by him when an order is placed. These conditions are relevant for deliveries resulting from orders directly placed on the website http://www.histoiredantan.com/, apart from a representative of the company “Histoire d’Antan”.
1. Location
The delivery of the product (s) may take place in metropolitan France area and in respect of local transports in the French islands that depend of the European continent (Corsica, Île de Batz, Île de Ré , etc..) in the DOM and DOT, and in Europe area.
2. DELIVERY
The vendor is fully free of all engagements regarding the delivery date in the following cases: -non respect of the conditions of payment. – the customer’s failure to supply required information for the execution of the contract. – in the case of «force majeure» or events such as war, revolution, strike, lockout, requisition, fire, natural disasters and generally all causes out of control of the vendor. The vendor, will inform as soon as possible the purchaser of these events Delays to delivery will not result in any damages, indemnity or penalty for the vendor only if stipulated and included in the specific conditions.
3. RECEPTION AND COMPLAINTS
For delivery by mail if the customer is not present, he will have to go to the nearest post office mentioned on the drop card to get the package(s). For delivery by carrier, customer or his representative shall take delivery of products ordered during the time slot at the named placed. The client or his agent must check the packaging and the number of parcels at the time of delivery. In case of damage, strike and / or missing item, the client has to write on the delivery slip specific and motivated overrides. Speaking of the imprecision of overrides as “subject toderigging” or “subject to verification” excludes any claim by the client. Any claim for too long delivery schedule and / or missing item(s) will not be studied by the company ” Histoire d’Antan ” except the two conditions below :
– Specific and motivated overrides noticed on the delivery slip, in accordance with the paragraph above.
– Confirmation of shortages and / or damage recorded, by two registered letters with return receipt, shipped in 3 days, (excluding legal holidays) after the delivery, addressed to The Post company ” Histoire d’Antan ” with which the order has been placed.

Unless to comply with these requirements and in the event of the company “Histoire d’Antan” thereby loses its ability to appeal against the carrier, the buyer would bear the financial loss consequences alone. If the claim is considered by the company “Histoire d’Antan” as being founded the company “Histoire d’Antan” will proceed without delay to reimburse the article Defects resulting from a mistake or a wrong move due to the buyer will not be borne by the company. On Distance Selling, Customer has eight days after the delivery of his order to return the product (s) under its (their) package (s) of origin to the company “Histoire d’Antan (In Metropolitan France, Corsica, in the DOM and DOT, and in European countries. The company “Histoire d’Antan” then proceeds, will reimburse the customer by check as soon as possible and no later than in a thirty days delay.
4. RETURNS
The cost of the product returning (by mail, carrier, etc…) are under customer’s responsibility.

By any time, “you have a right to access, modify, rectify and delete your data (art 34 of the law” Informatiques et Libertés “of January 6, 1978).
