Map n°15 mosaic of the northeast sector of Anthéor

"Secret-très Secret" map in French and English of the French landing zone "Rosie" northeast of the town of Anthéor. The French commandos landed on the night of August 14 to 15, 1944 in this area to block the German reinforcements coming from the east.

On the aerial photo the German defense positions and the landing places are inscribed in white. Map dated July 6, 1944.

The plastic protection is not vintage.
