Additional information

Second model of periscope for Sherman, also mounted on tank destroyers, Stuarts and M24 Chaffees.

Marked plate; "PERISCOPE M6 STOCK NO 7578357." One periscope comes off easily, the other the system is a little seized. Optics in good condition.

This periscope was found in a dump in Le Conquet in September 1996, inscription made by the discoverer on the side.
